Daddy

"Dad, dad, dad, dad, he keeps his room clean with a mop and a broom, dad, dad, dad, dad, he's our dad!" For those of you who aren't Full House know it alls. That is a little ditty that the girls made up about Danny Tanner when they got busted in his room. So, anyway, the boys love playing with their dad. They are both dad's boys, especially Nathan. Last saturday I was gone and Alex took the boys out for a boys day out. What did they do? Well I will tell you what they did. They went and did something that mom would never take them to do. They went and played in the sand. But they didn't just play in the sand. They got down and dirty in the sand. They dumped it on their heads and everything. Alex had to take a picture to document what actually took place on that fateful day and to rub it in to me. The point is, I am glad the boys have a dad that will take them to do stuff like that, because I (being the neat freak and germ-a-phob that I am) wouldn't ever take them to the sandy park or to their t-ball games or wrestle with them or to anywhere else that dads take their boys. So, thank you Alex for being a great dad and Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there!
