Picture Dump

Although things have slowed down for us, we still manage to keep busy playing limbo, seeing President Obama's limo, and going to monster truck shows amongst other things. We are trying to enjoy the time we have together doing not really anything before sports start up in a few weeks!

Valentines Love

Some serious love happened on Valentines day. Alex got me a 24 "carrot" necklace. Then Blake decided to take a bite out of it. I heart attacked Alex's car by telling him I was going to return a DVD to redbox, he never even knew what happened and it was a total surprise for him that morning. I also made Nathan a healthy valentines lunch. It was a great fun day!

Back to Projects

Monsters love to eat valentines right? Totally copied from pintrest.
I redid a rocking chair from my grandmother that used to be her moms. I got some scrap leather for $14 and the foam and upholstery pins all added up to $23! It only took one day and it was done. I did some research on the internet because I had never done this before. They said to to take off all the old fabric and keep it to measure your new fabric and then just staple gun it all down. I did that and then put in the pins on the back and I love it!

Buddies ForeverT

You just know these boys are going to be buddies forever because they beat each other up every day. With the boy crowd that is a sign of love apparently.

Blake's Birthday Celebration

Balloon Avalanche!!!!! Blake was so excited that "balloons fell down" on his birthday. I think I just might make this a tradition if I can remember to do it!
We went to the mall to do something fun. But gosh $7 for 2.5 minutes (I mean seriously couldn't it just be 3 minutes!) of jumping! Blake loved it and Nathan did the nervous laugh up and down.
While at the mall that night we also picked out a birthday suit for Blake. He is stylin!

Blake is 3!

How is this even possible?! It seems like not that long ago I was sitting in a pool in my bedroom trying to get the midwife there before little Blake was born, that didn't happen! But he came when he was ready and I remember knowing how special he was at that moment I held him. He is still just as wild and crazy! I love it, even though it scares me sometimes, I still love it! He insisted that his party be race car themed (not sure where that came from) so I ran with it. We played tire bean bag toss, red light/green light, and then we raced cars on some track I made. It was great! Tomorrow for his actual birthday we have some fun stuff planned so stayed tuned for some more birthday pictures!

Boys Just Want to Have Fuuun

We were playing Hide and Seek last sunday night as a family. He wanted to go hide. We try to explain the concept to Blake after having played a lot already, but he was the seeker. We start to count. He says, "I am gonna hide in the closet". We then say, "Blake don't tell us where you are hiding!" He says okay and runs off while we finish counting. The first place we go when we are done counting is in the living room and there he sits hiding secretly. I am pretty sure he won't be a spy when he grows up!
The other morning I was doing my morning routine and the boys happened to wake up at 6, so they had to find something to do. This is what they found, a clear walking cane apparently = hours of fun for 2 brothers. Who knew?
Saturday night Nathan had a small fever so Blake and I went to the mall to look for shoes for him for his birthday. We came home to the coolest batcave fort ever made by dad and Nathan. The boys have slept in it and love it.
